Dr Brian Jeffries owned a multi award winning postal auction business, KJB Stamp Sales, which operated from 1992 until his retirement in 2018.

Integrity is the key element in such businesses. KJB Stamp Sales was highly regarded in this area, both in Australia and overseas.

Brian has been a member of his Rotary club since 1989, serving as President, Secretary, Treasurer or an Avenue of Service Director on the Board of Directors for much of the time up to 2018, when he was made an Honorary Life Member. He served two terms as an Assistant Governor in his Rotary District, was awarded the "Five Avenues of Service" citation of Rotary International, and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He based the high ethical standards of his businessas a stamp dealer on "THE 4-WAY TEST" of Rotary International:

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Brian was a member of the "AUSTRALASIAN PHILATELIC TRADERS' ASSOCIATION (APTA)" and served four terms on the National Board of the Association. He served on the Disputes Sub-committee and the Convention Sub-committee, and was Chairman of the Membership Services Sub-committee. He has also been Vice-President of APTA.
